As CEO of AGP Group, Mr. Salmon leads the firm’s operations and strategic initiatives. He has established more than 10 Asia Pacific real asset platforms (including Assetz) across real estate and infrastructure, successfully exited 5 platforms, returned over US$2 billion of capital to investors and partners. Across these ventures, he has overseen more than 20 principal transactions throughout the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and been end accountable for delivered of over 30 million square feet of built assets across offices, residential and industrial development and more than 2.1 GW of energy, wind, solar and BESS delivery, and operation.
Most recently Mr. Salmon establishment of AGP’s digital infrastructure strategy, together with AGP Partners has secured customer contracts for over160MW (contracted and reserved) of data centre off-take, including development expansion of more than 900MW of development capacity in Asia Pacific region with secured energisation.
Mr. Salmon Co-Founder Assetz in 2005 – following the withdrawal of Lendlease from India. Under his leadership, Assetz has developed several of South India’s landmark projects, including Vrindavan Tech Village (VTV) — Karnataka’s first commercial (for-lease) office IT SEZ and India’s first LEED Platinum-rated office park. Assetz office park business was sold to Blackstone’s office park business Embassy Group.
Assetz continues to develop residential product for sale today being the largest Indian, foreign owned, residential developer having delivered over 25 million sq feet of product and an annual unit sale of greater than 3,500 homes per annum.
Prior to Assetz Group Partners (AGP) formation, he held the position of Country Manager for Bovis Lendlease (India), asset manager Lendlease Global Fund (Japan), Country Manger Bovis Lendlease (South Korea), and Executive Project Manager Lendlease Projects (Sydney, Australia).
