Preserving natural assets through tree transplantation

Protecting mature trees during project development.

At our AGP Industrial Logistics Parks project in Bangalore, India, we made an early decision to retain and transplant as many trees as possible within our project site, in line with our commitment to embed environmental consideration into project design and delivery.

Thirty-three trees were carefully relocated through a planned transplantation process, including root protection, pruning and specialised lifting equipment to ensure their survival. Four trees were retained in their existing location by modifying the compounds wall design.

Why It’s Important

  • Preserves mature trees with immediate environmental value
  • Supports local ecosystems and natural habitats
  • Maintains benefits for air quality, microclimate and water cycles
